Autumn 1 – Year 6 Parent App Message
Welcome back to your child’s final year at Holy Family in Year 6!
I am very much looking forward to a hard-working, enjoyable and fun year ahead.

 PE Days
PE will take place on Tuesday and Friday. Children should come to school in their outdoor PE uniform on these days.

Homework
Homework for this term will include:

TT Rockstars – daily practice at home

Spellings – set on EdShed and in their spelling books

 Reading – Year 6 expectation is 30 minutes per night

CGP Reading & SPaG Books – to be introduced for selected pupils (further details to follow)

Key Dates

Year 6 Leading the Rosary
Thursday 2nd October at 10:15am in the school hall.
Friends and family are warmly invited to join us. Children may bring rosary beads from home if they wish.
Year 6 Residential – Parent Meeting
A meeting will be held this term to share all important information. Details to follow.
