Jewellery in school17 January 2025 (by holyfamily) |
We have noticed an increase in children wearing jewellery in school which is not allowed. Please ensure that your child follows our rules on what is and isn't allowed.
Your child can wear one pair of earrings to school and these earrings must be studs - no hoop earrings or dangly earrings are allowed. However, they do need to be removed for PE days. If your child is able to take their earrings out and put them back in, this is fine. Please send a container in for your child to store their earrings so there is less chance of them getting lost. We do allow the use of retainer earrings in school for physical activity (this is only for the 6 week period after your child has had their ears pierced) but we do not allow tape over earrings.
The only jewellery permitted for your child is a wrist watch. Please do not allow your child to wear necklaces, bracelets or rings.
Thank you for your support with this.
