Hello,

I would like to share with you our new approach to homework in Year 5.

We will be continuing to use TT Rockstars and EdShed to practise spellings and times tables. However, in order to further support the children's understanding, I will be giving out English and Maths homework weekly.

This will be done in the form of a quiz on Showbie that can be accessed via the homework folder. The quiz will include a range of questions that we have covered in school that week. The children have been shown how to use the quizzes and should be able to access them independently.

I will be posting the quizzes on a Monday and they will close on a Friday.

As this is a new approach for us, there may be some teething problems so if you do have any issues accessing them please let me know. If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to ask.
