Good afternoon,

I hope you all had a restful summer break. I'm really looking forward to seeing your children again and hearing all about their summer adventures. As mentioned in the newsletter sent out yesterday, Mrs. Porter will be taking some time off. This means there will be a slight change in the Year 6 staff structure during the mornings.

For this week, Mrs. Hampshire and I will be teaching the children, and starting next week, Miss Clarke, who has previously taught your children, will take over the morning sessions. Miss Clarke is well-acquainted with our school routine, and I’m confident that she and Mrs. Hampshire will do a fantastic job helping your children settle back into school life.

Of course, I will still be in and out of the classroom to check on your wonderful children—they can’t get rid of me that easily! If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
